And it works with any MS Project file that has been saved as a text file.

To do this:

1. Load the file you want to analyze into MS Project.
2. Click File, then Save as.
3. Scroll to change the Save as type: field to Text (Tab delimited).
4. Click Save. This will automatically access the Export Mapping screen.
5. Double click on Task ‘Export Table’ Map.

    

Having saved your project file in a text format, upload it into the DRAG Eraser.

1. Click the Browse button to access the File Upload screen.
2. Scroll to change the Files of type: field to Text (*.txt). This lists your text files.
3. Double click on the file you want the DRAG Eraser to analyze. The file name will automatically appear in the DRAG Eraser’s Export File field.
4. If you want to calculate activity DRAG Costs, enter a value for each unit of project duration.
5. Click the Calculate DRAG button.
