Training for your Meeting Maker, GroupWise, Lotus Domino to Microsoft Exchange Conversion

Based on requests from our clients, we've started offering training to transition Meeting Maker users into the Outlook / Exchange environment.

Possible Deliverables:  (in PDF, HTML  and MS Word Format)

Documentation and Training Detail:  The transition from Meeting Maker to Outlook usually occurs over a weekend when all Meeting Maker users' existing calendars are converted. To ease the transition, end-user training can be provided at an introductory level and more advanced levels.

The basic seminar covers the following topics:

·         Introduction and walk-through for the Outlook calendar

o        Terminology differences

o        Available views, and print styles

o        Personalizing the calendar (labels, default reminders, etc.)

·         Creating an appointment

·         Proposing a single occurrence meeting

o        Adding meeting attendees (required and optional)

o        Adding resources (meeting locations, etc.)

o        Other options (reminders, etc.)

·         Proposing a recurring meeting

·         Responding to a meeting request

·         Delegates and how they differ from proxies

·         Group schedules

·         Resources (or how to make sure you’ve booked the room)

·         Advanced topics will be in a Q&A format via WebEx.

The advanced/Q&A seminar will be held in a “question and answer” format.  Sumatra will answer questions and be prepared to address more advanced topics, such as:

·         Publishing a calendar to the web

·         Creating a personalized print style

·         Setting exceptions to a recurring meeting

The training will be 60 minutes long, follow the flash card / booklet and be delivered via WebEx or other appropriate conferencing solution.  We can also optionally do on-site training.

Training, given the highly specific site and client nature of the requirements is difficult to price sight unseen, though the costs on it are typically far less than on the migration software and process.
